Tailoring is a huge part of design.
It can be defined as altering or changing a garment to suit a particular shape or figure.
Tailoring started to become popular throughout the show season of spring/summer 08.
One of my favourite designers who has always had a well structured cut to their designs is Jill Saunder which was taken over by Raf Simons in 2005.
Although most people would relate tailoring to Autumn and winter in the form of coats and suits, Raf manages to subtly carry this technique year round.
